1. Get a kit - Have a least 3 days worth of supplies in an easy-to-carry evacuation kit, with additional items on hand.
2. Make a Plan - Planning ahead will help you have the best possible response to disaster.
3. Be informed - Know what may happen and how you can help.
Volunteering at the Red Cross:
Teach - Teach local disaster and Health & Safety classes
Respond - Help respond to local disasters
Office - Answer phones, computer work, etc.
You can support the lifesaving services to the American
Red Cross by volunteering your time and talent, and making a financial
contribution.
