Dec 28: Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson, fullback Vonta Leach and running back Arian Foster are named to the 2010 AFC Pro Bowl roster. Johnson and Leach are selected as starters. Foster, the NFL’s leading rusher, makes it as a reserve. Johnson would later pull out due to an ankle injury.

Oct 20: quarterback Matt Schaub earns AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors after leading the Texans to a 35-31 come-from-behind win against Kansas City. Schaub completes 25-of-33 passes for 305 yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions and a season-best 123.9 passer rating, and leads the Texans on four consecutive touchdown drives against Kansas City to help overcome a 14-point deficit. He finds Andre Johnson in the back of the end zone from 11 yards out with 28 seconds remaining in the contest to cap the nine-play, 80-yard game-winning drive. It marks the seventh game-winning drive of Schaub’s career and second this season.

Sept 30: Running back Arian Foster is named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for September.
